Mitchell Rice-Brading
ARTD Consultants
I started with ARTD in early 2022 after completing his Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) in 2021. This, in combination with experience as a Psychology research assistant, helped me develop strong research skills, namely the ability to synthesise and critically evaluate qualitative and quantitative data. I also have extensive experience with survey design, proposal development, and literature review.
Having lived a previous life as a coach for school students, and currently volunteering as a mentor for children and young people who have lost close friends and family, I have a vested interest in providing children and young people the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback. I led the coordination of stakeholder engagement for ARTD’s Review of NSW Ministry of Health’s Healthy Eating and Active Living (HEAL) programs for Aboriginal people, which involved supporting interviews of program participants and their carers and supporters. I also engaged schools across NSW as part of ARTD’s evaluation of the NSW Department of Education’s Intensive Learning Support Program, which included engaging students aged 7 – 17 through specially designed focus groups. I am currently engaging consumers and their families, supporters, and carers as part of our evaluation of the Child and Youth HOPE Program.
