Project Manager, Outome Practice and Evidence Network
Melbourne
Dr Mandy Charman is the Project Manager for the Outcome, Performance and Evidence Network (OPEN) in the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare. OPEN, which represents a sector–government–research collaboration, has been developed to strengthen the evidence base of the child and family service sector – to support evidence informed practice and practice informed research. Prior to her work with the Centre, Mandy has developed evaluation programs in Victorian State Government departments aimed at fostering evidence based culture through establishing systems, building leadership commitment and delivering evaluation capability services and activities. Mandy is passionate about embedding evaluative practice into the DNA of all programs, working to strengthen capability and confidence in the creation and use of evidence and to foster the organisational systems necessary for an evidence based culture to flourish.
