Combining academic rigour with a practical ‘can-do’ approach, Kathryn is committed to delivering evidence-based change that improves the lives of Australians. Kathryn brings a depth and breadth of experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, specialising in program review and evaluation. She has delivered multiple evaluations – of varying scale and complexity – across the health, human services, education and justice sectors, and has experience embedding evaluation capability in-house. Kathryn’s technical experience coupled with ‘on-the-job’ learning underpins her passion for practical evaluation, and she is skilled across developmental approaches, agile methodologies and digital evaluation. Much of Kathryn’s work has been focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable cohorts, including children and young people; people with complex or challenging needs, and those experiencing family violence. With this lens, Kathryn brings ethical rigour and a sensitive approach to stakeholder engagement, and is highly skilled at designing and conducting tailored engagement methods compliant with Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC).
